Beijing Forestry University unveiled a renovated sports facility on the fourth floor of its Eastern Cafeteria, transforming the space into a smart sports complex with badminton and table tennis zones. The upgrade, completed during winter break by the university' s General Support Department, features advanced security systems and athlete-friendly amenities.
The new complex houses 6 international-standard badminton courts and 12 professional table tennis tables. Motorized curtains allow swift conversion between conference and sports modes, while glare-free lighting ensures optimal visibility. User-centric designs include a 74-seat lounge, two changing cubicles, and 4 360-degree surveillance cameras and a facial recognition system which enhances access control and safety.
The newly renovated sports complex has been met with overwhelming enthusiasm from the campus community. Students particularly appreciate its all-inclusive facilities and considerate services, which have created an ideal social and fitness hub. "The attention to detail, like the cozy rest areas and private changing cubicles, makes post-workout recovery so much easier. It's these considerate touches that really make you feel cared for", shared a frequent user.
It is reported that further expansions of recreational spaces are planned to meet growing demand for campus fitness resources.
