Party Committee Secretary
WANG became a member of the CPC in July, 1984. After being conferred his master degree from Beijing Normal University in June 1988, he joined the Ministry of Education (MOE) and worked consecutively in the Research Center of Course-books for Elementary Education, the Executive Office, and the Comprehensive Reform Department of the Ministry. During the 7 years (August 2005 through August 2012) when he worked as the Vice Inspector of the Executive Office, he was assigned for some time to Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and sat concurrently on the post of the Deputy Director of the Education and Sports Bureau there. In August 2012, he assumed his post as the Vice Director of the Comprehensive Reform Department of the MOE. He has been the Secretary of BFU CPC Committee and member of its Standing Committee since July, 2015.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President
Li Zhaohu, male and of Han ethnicity, was born in July 1967. He is a member of the Communist Party of China and currently serves as the President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee at Beijing Forestry University.
Prior to joining BFU, he served in turn as the Dean of the College of Agronomy and Biotechnology at China Agricultural University, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice President, and Executive Vice President from 2002 to 2018. In September 2018, LI took on the role of President and Deputy Secretary at Huazhong Agricultural University.
In August 2024, LI was appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Beijing Forestry University.

Prior to joining BFU, WANG had worked consecutively on a wide range of party administrative posts at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), serving in turn as the secretary and deputy director of the UIBE CPC Organizational Division (from April 2004 through September 2009); assistant secretary and director of the UIBE CPC Disciplinary Committee (from September 2009 through March 2016). While working there, he also sits concurrently as the secretary of the UIBE Central Administration Sub-committee (from May 2011 through June 2017) and director of the General Office of UIBE CPC Committee (from September 2014 through June 2017). LI got his bachelor (1981-1985) and master (1985-1988) degrees from the School of Landscape Architecture in BFU and started his career as a teacher in the university upon graduation. He worked first as a lecturer (1988 through 1991) and then an associate professor (1991 through 2000) , during which he also went to the Architecture School of the Auburn University in the US as a senior academic visitor for 1 year (September 1996 through June 1997).
