ZHANG, born in September 1967, served as deputy director of the President Office of Beijing Forestry University, director of the Office for International Relations, executive vice president of the Graduate School, dean of the School of Soil and Water Conservation, deputy director of the Advanced Innovation Center for Molecular Design and Tree Breeding, and director of Social Services and Integrated Research Office. In March 2022, he was appointed to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of Beijing Forestry University.
Chiefly responsible for acdemic research, state-owned assets and laboratory management, he, in addition to assisting the President in undergraduate education and admission, is directly in charge of Science and Technology Office (Humanities and Social Sciences Division), State-owned Assets Administration Office, Laboratory Management Office. He is also the designated university liaison to the College of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology and the School of Landscape Architecture.
