On October 15, the International Exchange and Cooperation Office held the 2020 International Student Online Opening Ceremony in the form of a cloud conference. More than 40 new 2020 international students, all the faculty and staff of the International Student Office of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, representatives of international student supervisors, college international student counselors and Chinese teachers attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by the head of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office. Vice President Li Xiong attended the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech

¡¡¡¡In his speech, Li Xiong expressed his sincere welcome to all new international students of the class of 2020, and encouraged all new international students who are abroad due to the epidemic. He pointed out that my country¡¯s fight against the new coronavirus epidemic has achieved major strategic results, but the new coronavirus epidemic is still raging around the world. He hopes that all international students can return to campus as soon as possible and start normal learning. He also hopes that everyone can adapt to the new mode of online teaching as soon as possible.

It is reported that the international cooperation department will divide the entrance education into three parts according to the actual situation of domestic and international students such as time difference between domestic and foreign students, namely, campus environment, safety education and education and teaching will be carried out in succession to help international students get to know the school as soon as possible and adapt to the new learning life.
