BFU News–On 29 and 30 of October, the “Walking Outdoors 3.0 (walking outdoors away from the Internet, walking outdoors from your dorms, walking outdoors into the playground) Thousand-People Action”, the program of “Green Dynamic Life”, was held in Tin Ka Ping Stadium initiated by Youth League and Students’ Union of our university. More than 1400 students participated in this program through signing up online and offline to experience green, young and vigorous life.
To better showcase the charm of group activities and facilitate the communication and collaboration among students, this activity was carried out in group, supporting them to sign up in the collective form of Youth League branch. Students manifested great enthusiasm for the activity and took part in it passionately. The program was designed in a unique way, centering around five important stages in students’ life–primary school, middle school, university life, workplace and family time. The fun games included “The Eagle Catches the Chickens”, “Flipping Paper Tag”, “Basketball-dribbling Relay”, “Running” and “Finger-Pressing-Board Relay” to secure students’ enjoyment of the happy and wonderful time during the five different phases and experience their abundant and interesting green dynamic life. These sports grasped their interest, refreshed their youth memory and set free their imagination toward future life in riotous profusion. This program stirred in them an eagerness to get involved in the similar activities again.
This session has harvested unanimous welcome from the participant students, enriching the campus sports culture and guiding them to walk away from the Internet, walk out of their dorms and walk out into the playground to cultivate a good habit for sports exercises. It is reported that the Youth League of our university will continue to hold the series activities of “Walking Outdoors 3.0 Thousand-People Action” at the end of November.
