On June 30th, the International College held the farewell party for the 2022 class of international graduates. International graduates from home and abroad gathered on campus and in the cloud to celebrate their graduation. Vice President Li Xiong of BFU attended the meeting and delivered a speech online. Vice Dean of International College presided over the farewell party.
Li Xiong said that the study and life of international graduates in recent years have been inevitably affected by the epidemic. Despite the challenges, the graduates have made great efforts to overcome difficulties and graduate successfully. While wishing everyone a bright future, he expressed high appreciation to the students for their ability to quickly adapt to online learning and adjust to the new pace of life.
The dean of the International College announced the list of 2022 international student graduates, and encouraged everyone to hold on to their dreams, work hard to overcome the difficulties on the road to success to achieve a brighter future.
The graduate’ families also sent best wishes to the graduates. RASHIDRASOOL (Indian)’s father said: “I am very grateful to Beijing Forestry University and its faculty for providing a shelter for my son to study, and doing best to teaching knowledge to my son". The family of ALBERTINA (Guinea-Bissau) also said to their child: "The whole family is very delighted to see your growth during your five years of studying in China. We hope you know that we are so proud of you."
In order to express our best wishes, college leaders, teachers and counselors also recorded a video of blessing for the graduates. Graduates at home and abroad also expressed their gratitude to their teachers through video messages.
The school choir recorded the chorus song "Farewell" in Both Chinese and English for the international graduates to express our sincere wishes to them. Zhang Duo, representative of the African Alumni Association of BFU, also recorded a video to express heartfelt congratulations to the 2022 graduates. In the end, the dean of the International College presented "Graduation Ribbon of the International College of Beijing Forestry University" specially made for the international graduates.
