On the morning of April 4, president An Lizhe and vice-president Zou Guohui of Beijing Forestry University went to the experiment forestry farm to check up the implementation of forest fire prevention and epidemic prevention and control measures.
An Lizhe highly praised the experiment forestry farm’s work of the forest fire prevention. He pointed out that there were several forest fires in Beijing and other places in China from this spring, due to current high risks of forest fire, the prevention of forest fire is becoming more and more severe especially during the Qingming Festival. BFU highly values the work of the experiment forestry farm in the forest fire prevention. School leaders hope that all the staff of the experiment forestry farm should regard the work of forest fire prevention as a top priority, and remain vigilant and adopt effective measures to prevent the hazard from happening and make sure that all the measures of the forest fire prevention be carried out smoothly.
Zou Guohui stated that BFU would fully support the work of forest fire prevention. He wished that the experiment forestry farm could improve technological strategies of forest fire prevention, together with BFU’s discipline superiority, to accomplish the mission of the forest fire prevention successfully.
In the experiment forestry farm, school leaders had an interview with the officers and soldiers, who were temporarily ground-based garrisons of the fire authority, the Ministry of Emergency Management, and paid tribute to the garrisoned officers and soldiers on behalf of BFU, and thanked them for their hard work.
While school leaders were checking up the epidemic prevention and control work, they requested that all the staff of the experiment forestry farm should follow the CPC Central Committee’s arrangements, maintain security of Beijing and our campus, enhance vigilance and play a responsible role, implement the lockdown, keep a record of anyone coming in and going out, check body temperature. Once something unusual happens, it must be reported at once and dealt with right away. At the same time the staff of the experiment forestry farm should protect their lives and health to ensure BFU a “Non-epidemic” community.
School leaders also distributed the face masks, disinfectants, hand sanitizers and other epidemic prevention materials to the working staff in the experiment forestry farm and garrisoned officers and soldiers.
Recently, BFU has carried on a campaign of the production safety investigation, school leaders went to each building’s laboratories on campus to check the situation of lockdown and security. They went to Miaopu experimental areas, the science park incubator and school library to inspect the implementation of ready for spring term and production safety. The emphasis of the investigation is on the hidden dangers of fire safety and the specific requirements of safety management in key areas.
