Since her graduation from BFU in 1987, SUN has worked in succession as director of the Graduate Student Enrollment Division (from September 2000 onwards), director of the Department of Graduates Affairs (from April 2005 onwards), director of the Publicity Department (from January 2017 onwards) and member of the Standing Committee of BFU CPC Committee (from December 2018 onwards). In February 2019, she was appointed to serve concurrently as the director of the Innovation and Development Center of Moral and Political Education in Universities (in February 2019) and dean of the School of Marxism (in April 2019). She assumed her role as the Assistant Secretary of BFU CPC Committee in January 2020.
Chiefly responsible for moral and political education, students’ affairs, enrollment and employment, labor union, higher education studies, and alumna, SUN is directly in charge of the Publicity Department (Information Office), the Teachers Affairs Department, the Department of Graduate Affairs, the Students Affairs Department, the National Defense Education Department, the Enrollment and Employment Division, the Labor Union, the Youth League, the Higher Education Research Institute and the Alumna Office (the Education Funds). She is concurrently the dean of the School of Marxism.
