周金星，男，汉族，水土保持工程教研室主任。任中国陆地生态系统观测研究网络（CTERN）云南建水生态站站长、教育部林业生态工程研究中心主任、西南岩溶石漠化治理国家创新联盟理事长、中国林业工程建设协会石漠化监测与综合治理专业委员会副主任委员。获国家林草局“百千万人才工程”省部级人选、“中国林业青年科技奖”、“中国水土保持青年科技奖”、“北林学者”杰出青年。获省部级奖励10余项，国家专利9项、国家新品种11项、行业标准5项。著作7部、论文200余篇、其中SCI论文50余篇。团队被授予“西南地区困难立地生态修复”国家创新团队称号。
研究领域：水土保持与荒漠化防治、石漠化治理、生态修复工程。
