Jointly held by Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, Information Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality and Beijing Municipal Education Commission, “A Hundred Reasons for Falling in Love with Beijing”-"Beijing and I" composition contest for international students in Beijing has come to its end recently. Five international students from our university participated in this contest.

After the selection,a Letter Homewritten by THOI HOANG PHUOC (from Vietnam) had won the Second Prize, andthe Story of Beijing and Iwritten by JUNG GUN YUN (from Democratic People's Republic of Korea) had won the Third Prize. Excellent Awards areBeijing and I -A Hundred Reasons for Falling in Love with Beijingwritten by LETY YOU (from Cambodia) andWill Beijing Love Me?written by PHUONG UYEN DO (from Vietnam).A Hundred Reasons for Me to Fall in Love with Beijingwritten by RASHIDRASOOLRABBANI ISMAILI (from India) had won the Participation Award.

The “Beijing and I” Composition Contest is a practical action to realize the improvement of quality and effectiveness of international students’ education of BFU. It’s also an important platform which can encourage international students to spread Chinese culture and tell fantastic Chinese stories. BFU will continue to put high importance on the educational work of the international students in China, improve the quality of teaching and fight for cultivating more and more versatile talented people who have the international horizon and deep emotions towards China.
