I want to thank my Supervisors (Gao Guanglei and Zhao Yuanyuan), and School of Soil and Water Conservation, Beijing Forestry University, specially International Student College for giving me the opportunity to get internship at MCFLY Technology Co., Ltd. At first, when I began looking for an internship, I was not sure that I liked having so much freedom in my decision, but looking back. I am truly grateful for this opportunity. I am appreciative of the way the Beijing Forestry University, School of Soil and Water Conservation they provides the internship opportunity because it caused me to seek out my own internship and set-up all the details involved. The International Student College was helpful when I had questions, but it was good for me to oversee every aspect of my internship and, in the end, has been advantageous. I believe this approach would be beneficial to encourage students to find their internships based on their future career goals.

In the Company, I worked as a Remote sensing high-tech data developer. MCFLY is Artificial intelligence and Big Data service provider, focused on smart agriculture with the leading–edge high-tech science background and internet technologies. MCFLY is aimed to become the next generation world-leading Agriculture Company.I thoroughly enjoyed my internship and now have very valuable experience under my belt. We all know that practical experience is the best, and internships give students that hands-on experience they need. I feel that quality internships are essential to develop key skills that you can't get in a classroom. As I go into the "real world”, having this internship experience was good for me to start out as a professional. I learned responsibilities of working: being on time, dressing professionally, working hard, multitasking, communicating, learning to deal with diversity, and dealing with deadlines are different when you are working for someone else. I have learned how to work with many types of people in many types of situations. It has taught me to not take things so personally, that business is business and it is not personal. It has served as a beneficial ending to my formal education. In my opinion, the best way to learn is by doing. I think that an internship is extremely valuable to a student. It is a small taste of the real world. It helped reinforce my knowledge of responsibility, focus, drive and ambition.

My experience at MCFLY has been outstanding. I know that not every student is fortunate enough to obtain an internship that will provide him or her with as much hands-on experience as mine has, but I wish that every student could. Everything I was taught in my Master classes was put into practice while at the University from courses such as (introductory, compulsory, elective) to upper level classes like Writing in Research Articles
