On the afternoon of March 26th, Saleem Uddin, a Pakistani student of International College of Beijing Forestry University, participated in the international exchange and sharing meeting of Olympic spirit and youth mission as an international youth representative.
At the meeting, Uddin shared his story with the Winter Olympics, introduced Pakistan's sports culture and expressed his expectation for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. He said that he would try his best to make contribution to Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
A launching ceremony was held at the end of the meeting. The international youth representatives and other guests poured the water from the crystal bottles into the starting device. At the same time, the icon of “Meet Beijing in 2022†slowly rose, symbolizing the efforts of Chinese and foreign youth for the Winter Olympics.
It is reported that the international exchange and sharing meeting was held in Beijing Branch of Bank of China. Jin Yuming, vice president of the Party Committee of Beijing Branch of Bank of China, Li Jian, deputy secretary of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, Lou Xiaoqi, president and chief editor of Civilization, and 100 international young students and youth representatives attended the activities. Li Qiufu, president of Beijing Student Union, presided over the sharing meeting.
