The School has one Master program in Science (083000, Environmental Science and Engineering) enrolling ca. 35 students/year.

The Master program in Science is devoted to cultivate graduates with firm understanding of basic theories and broad foundation of knowledge, a broad awareness of the state-of-art development and trends in related research, and good experimental skills and research methodologies. In addition, all graduates are expected to possess comprehensive quality and strong independent innovation and have the ability to perform fundamental research and development in the fields of environmental pollution control, ecological remediation, resource of waste residues, and environmental functional material design. The graduates should also be good at a secondary language.

The Master program in Science are committed to fulfill the obligations to cultivate academic specialized personnel for complicated ecological problem solving and therefore have emerged 4 major research directions, including pollution control of water environment and ecological restoration, design and applications of environmental functional materials, resource of solid waste residues and soil remediation, and behavior of emerging contaminants and their control in ecological environment.
