Course: Application of Econometrics Software (2 credits)
Teaching Objects: Stata beginners Introduction: Stata is a general statistical software package. This is the first look at Stata for beginners. The course aims to introduce participants to the basic usage of Stata for analyzing economics data. An overview of the main Stata functions will be given by showing them applied to real data examples. In this course, we will present the Stata structure and philosophy, demonstrate the potentialities of the software itself for analyzing data.
