National Key Laboratory for Forest Genetics and Breeding focuses on the major national strategies such as ecological security, wood safety and rural revitalization, carrying out scientific research on forest genetic breeding to overcome the core fundamental difficulties and key technical bottlenecks of the forestry seed industry such as germplasm resources, breeding and breeding, and striving to create a world-class national key laboratory. The Laboratory provides effective support to the high-quality development of forestry and grassland industries and the construction of ecological civilization. Four major research fields of the Laboratory ate: the creation and breeding of new varieties of timber forest, the creation and breeding of new varieties of economic forest, the creation and breeding of new varieties of ecological forest, and the research of key technologies of tree breeding.
