Beijing Forestry University is committed to constructing ecological civilization as the foundation of the university's construction and development. We aim to build high-level disciplines with international influence and cultivate high-quality international talents. We actively respond to the green "Belt and Road Initiative," expand educational layouts, and establish a global ecological civilization partnership network.

The university has taken the lead in establishing the Asia-Pacific Forestry Education Coordination Mechanism and initiated the global initiative known as the "East Asian-Australasian Flyway Education Cooperation Alliance." Additionally, it has become a member of numerous alliances such as the "Global Challenges University Alliance," "Silk Road Agricultural Education and Research Innovation Alliance," "Belt and Road/South-South Cooperation on Agricultural Education, Science and Technology Innovation League," and the "China-Central and Eastern European Countries University Consortium." Actively leveraging international high-level educational and technological resources, the university is enhancing collaboration with various international educational institutions. Presently, it has forged strategic partnership relations with over a hundred universities and research institutions from such countries and regions as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Nigeria, and so on.
